Message from Diana and Jason Smith
One look at his infectious grin and your worries would melt away. We knew his smile was meant to change the world! Tragically, Everett is no longer with us but we know that he would want to keep doing the best for his friends as he sips his milk and asks for more toppings on his toast.
Ev’s parents, with the assistance of the NHCS, have set up this fund to provide additional funding to turn Ev’s grin into a legacy of helping out his buddies, past, present and future.
With Everett’s memorial fund, 100% of the donations will be used to help and support our community’s children in need. While this is not an all inclusive list, it includes special activities such as guest entertainers for NHCS’s Child Care programs, short-term interventions for families or temporary emergency child care during challenging times or crisis, and specialized professional training for staff (training opportunities not normally covered through regular professional development funding).
How to make a donation to the Everett Smith Memorial Fund…
A) If you bank with TD Canada Trust, Bank of Nova Scotia or Kawartha Credit Union you can add North Hastings Children’s Services as a payee in Bill Payments and use EverettSmith as the account info (no spaces).
